Without getting all ‘techie’ on you, a podcast is simply a compressed audio file, almost always in the MP3 format. The most misleading detail about podcasts is the name, Podcast, because it kind of implies that you need an iPod to play it. Not true! Any MP3 player will play a podcast. Your media player such as Windows Media Player or Real Player will play the show from your desktop, or laptop. Those users that have an iPod, PDA, or even a cellphone that plays MP3s can connect the device to their computer and load podcasts into it, the exact same way that music is loaded.
We also provide a link that streams the files as well, so you don’t have to download it.
